Celebrating Innovation & Impact: Evolve’s Own Victoria Hickam Honored by NPMA

In an industry defined by innovation, operational excellence, and changing customer expectations, it’s the people behind the progress who make the greatest impact.

This Women’s History Month, we’re proud to celebrate one of our own.

Victoria Hickam, Product Engineer & Designer at Evolve, has been named a recipient of the National Pest Management Association’s 2026 Impact Awards for Women in Pest Management—an honor recognizing exceptional women across all roles in the industry, from technical and service to leadership, sales, and beyond.

Recognizing Women Driving the Industry Forward

The NPMA Impact Awards shine a spotlight on women who are shaping the future of pest management through leadership, innovation, and service.

Victoria’s recognition reflects not only her individual contributions, but also the broader momentum happening across the industry—where technology, operations, and customer experience are rapidly evolving.

As Victoria shared:

“I’m incredibly honored to be recognized among such a talented group of women making an impact across the pest management industry. This field is evolving quickly, and it’s exciting to be part of the innovation and progress shaping how teams operate, serve customers, and grow. I’m grateful to contribute to that momentum alongside so many inspiring professionals, and to work with a team that empowers each other to do meaningful, impactful work.”

Driving Impact Through Innovation at Evolve

Within Evolve, Victoria has played a pivotal role in transforming how service businesses engage with their customers and operate day-to-day.

Her leadership has:

  • Redefined client engagement from onboarding through long-term partnership
  • Aligned cross-functional teams around a customer-first strategy
  • Strengthened retention and improved overall customer experience
  • Elevated a culture of accountability, innovation, and measurable impact

Beyond strategy, Victoria has been instrumental in designing and executing frameworks that connect user experience with real business outcomes—ensuring that technology doesn’t just exist, but delivers value.

Advancing the Pest Management Industry

Victoria’s influence extends well beyond Evolve.

She spearheaded the development of an industry-first route optimization and scheduling solution tailored specifically for pest management operations, addressing longstanding challenges such as:

  • Inefficient technician routing
  • Excess fuel costs
  • Scheduling bottlenecks
  • Limited visibility into field operations

By introducing smarter automation and data-driven decision-making, her work has helped modernize workflows across the pest control industry and set a new standard for operational excellence.

This kind of innovation is exactly what’s driving the next generation of pest management businesses forward.

Giving Back: Inspiring the Next Generation

Victoria’s impact isn’t limited to the workplace or industry.

She is deeply committed to empowering the next generation through education and mentorship. As a volunteer instructor for youth coding classes, she helps students build foundational technology skills and confidence early on.

Through her involvement with Girls Who Code, she mentors young women pursuing careers in STEM, helping close the gender gap in technology and encouraging future leaders to see themselves as innovators.

Her work ensures that the future of both technology and pest management is more inclusive, diverse, and empowered.

Honoring Excellence at the NPMA Women’s Forum

Victoria, along with the other 2026 award recipients, will be formally recognized at NPMA’s upcoming Women’s Forum, taking place May 19–21 in Charlotte.

This event brings together women across the pest management industry to:

  • Share insights and experiences
  • Build meaningful connections
  • Support leadership development
  • Celebrate the contributions of women at every level

It’s a powerful reflection of the industry’s commitment to growth—not just in business performance, but in people.

A Reflection of What’s Possible

Victoria’s recognition is more than an individual achievement. It’s a reflection of what’s possible when innovation, leadership, and purpose come together.

At Evolve, we believe the future of pest management will be shaped by those who challenge the status quo, embrace technology, and invest in people.

Victoria exemplifies all of that and more.

We’re proud to celebrate her, and we’re excited to see the continued impact she and so many other talented women will have on the pest management industry.
